Philippine government exam schedule 2027
The next Civil Service Exam is on 14 March 2027, and filing is open now. PRC, NAPOLCOM, PMA and PNPA had not announced their 2027 dates when we last checked, so we say so here instead of guessing.
Checked against official sources as of October 2026. Dates can change, so always confirm with the agency.

Civil Service Exam — Professional Level
Civil Service Commission (CSC)
The next CSE-PPT (Professional and Subprofessional) is on Sunday, 14 March 2027. Filing started 02 November 2026 and runs continuously until slots are filled, so apply early. The second 2027 exam is set for 08 August 2027, with filing from 10 May 2027. CSC normally holds the CSE-PPT twice a year — the second Sunday of March and the second Sunday of August.
Civil Service Exam — Sub-professional Level
Civil Service Commission (CSC)
The next Sub-professional CSE-PPT is on Sunday, 14 March 2027. Filing opened 2 November 2026 and runs until all slots are filled, so file early. CSC set about 350,000 slots for this date. A second 2027 exam is set for 8 August 2027, with filing from 10 May 2027. Result dates are targets and may change depending on the number of examinees.
Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET / LEPT)
Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) — Board for Professional Teachers
The LET is held twice a year, on a Sunday in March and a Sunday in September. In 2026 it was held on March 15 and September 20. Results of the September 20, 2026 LET are targeted for release on November 27, 2026. PRC has not yet published its 2027 exam calendar. Last year it released the next year's calendar (Resolution No. 2113, s. 2025) on November 17, 2025, so expect the 2027 LET dates around November–December 2026. Check prc.gov.ph before you plan.
NAPOLCOM PNP Entrance Examination
National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM)
NAPOLCOM usually holds the PNP Entrance Exam twice a year, around April and October, on a Sunday. The first 2026 exam was on April 19, 2026, and its results came out in June 2026. The second 2026 exam was held on October 18, 2026 (per napolcom.gov.ph), with online registration on August 17–21, 2026, so results are expected around December 2026. No 2027 dates have been officially announced yet. Registration windows are short (about a week), so follow napolcom.gov.ph and NAPOLCOM's Facebook page closely.
LTO Driver's License Theoretical Exam
Land Transportation Office (LTO)
There's no single national exam date for the LTO theoretical exam. You take it as part of your license application at an LTO District Office or Licensing Center, usually on a working day, by walk-in or a booked LTMS appointment where the office offers it. Slots, cut-off times, and daily caps vary per office, so check with your chosen office or the LTMS portal before you go.
Philippine Military Academy Entrance Examination (PMAEE)
Philippine Military Academy (PMA) — Office of Cadet Recruitment and Admission (OCRA)
PMAEE 2026 is finished: it ran in five legs from July 11 to September 6, 2026 at 48 testing centers, and PMA released the 1,216 passers on October 1, 2026. Passers are now in screening (October 2026 to April 2027) for PMA Class 2031, which is tentatively set to convene in May 2027. The next exam cycle has NOT been announced yet. As a guide, PMA opened online applications on February 20 in 2026 and held the exams from July to September — so watch pma.edu.ph and the official PMA Facebook page from early 2027.
PNPA Cadet Admission Test (PNPACAT)
Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA)
PNPACAT 2026 (for applicants aged 18–22 before May 1, 2027) was scheduled for October 25, 2026, after online applications ran June 1 to September 30, 2026. As of late October 2026, PNPA has not posted the results. In 2024 it said results come out about a month after the exam, so watch PNPA's official pages in November–December 2026. PNPACAT 2027 has not been announced; in 2025 and 2026, applications opened on June 1.
Criminologist Licensure Examination (CLE)
Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) — Professional Regulatory Board of Criminology
In 2026 the PRC gave the CLE twice: February 4–6 and August 1–3, 2026. Both 2026 sittings are done. The PRC has not yet announced the 2027 CLE dates. It released the 2026 calendar (PRC Resolution No. 2113, s. 2025) in November 2025, so expect the 2027 schedule around November–December 2026. Recent years have followed a February/August pattern, but wait for the official resolution before planning. Filing usually opens about 3½ months before the exam and closes about 1½ months before it.
